Cheap Herb Garden Display


Materials:
2 recycled cans (I don't usually eat canned vegetables, but I do bake a lot with pumpkin!)
1 bag of rocks (I found mine at the dollar store)
loaf pan (also found this at the dollar store)
seeds
dirt

Instructions:
1. Add layer of rocks to loaf pan.
2. Peel off labels from cans and wash.
3.  Add dirt to cans.
4. Plant seeds, and water according to directions. 
5. Place cans on top of rocks and add remaining rocks to loaf pan. 
6. Watch your herb garden grow :)

Spinach and Pasta Salad


Ingredients (I eyeball all these ingredients):
Baby Spinach
Whole Wheat Penne
Crumbled Feta Cheese
Tomatoes
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Italian Seasoning

Directions:
1. Cook pasta according to package directions and drain (~2 cups).
2. Wash spinach and drain (half a bag ~2 cups).
3. Dice a couple of tomatoes.
4. In a large bowl, combine pasta, spinach, and tomatoes.
5. Add a few splashes of olive oil (enough to lightly coat your salad ~2 Tbl).
6. Sprinkle in some Italian seasoning (~1 tsp) and crumbled feta (~1/4 cup).
7. Stir and chill in fridge.
8. Enjoy your healthy meal :)
