Mason Jar Rustic Centerpieces

Materials Needed:
3 Different Size Mason Jars (You can get a ton of these at yard sales for dirt cheap instead of going to the craft store.
Twine (I picked mine up at a hardware store - again cheaper than the craft store and you can get a much larger roll)
Hot Glue Gun and Glue (10 bucks at a craft store for a little guy)
Assorted Wildflowers (Super cheap at the Farmer's Market and you get to support local businesses)
Wood Slices (My father  in law made these from a birch tree that fell on his property during a storm - tree hugging)

Jars: Start about one-third of the way down the mason jar and add a dab of glue. Attach the twine to the glue and start wrapping the jar. Add dabs of glue here and there. You're done when you are about two-thirds of the way down. Add glue to the end.

Flowers: Cut flowers to fit each size jar. A few stems in each. For our wedding, we got 500 stems for $250. This filled all our tables (15) plus random jars throughout the reception hall.

Wood Slices: Just naturally cut with a chain saw, no staining.
